New Director of Microcity SA

The Board of Directors of Microcity SA has chosen its new director. Jean-Marc Brunner, former Head of Technology Transfer and Industrial Relations at the University of Fribourg and Director of SICHH, will take up his post on August 2, 2021.

Mr. Brunner, PhD in Life Sciences, graduated from UNIL, took over the management of the technology transfer center of the University of Fribourg in 2009 and co-founded the SICHH in 2014 (Swiss lntegrative Center for Human Health), a competence center providing customized R&D solutions in Life Sciences which has just been taken over by Biovalley lnvestments.

With a large network and already very well integrated in the economic and research circles of Neuchâtel, he was able to convince by the quality of his technical and behavioral skills to continue the development of the activities of Microcity S.A.

He is very attached to the canton of Neuchâtel, where he spent some of the highlights of his career as a professional field hockey player with H.C. La Chaux-de-Fonds.

Microcity SA was created to stimulate, accelerate and promote technological innovation in the canton of Neuchâtel.
Two and a half years after its creation, it supports regional entrepreneurs on a daily basis, with passion and dynamism. With the objective of making their lives easier and saving them precious time, it offers them a wide range of services that meet their needs as closely as possible: establishing contacts, setting up projects, seeking financing, promoting and animating networks.

With its new management and the team in place, the Board of Directors of Microcity SA is delighted to continue the development of its mission alongside the women and men whose know-how contributes every day to forging our world of tomorrow, the one of the post-covid era, which has seen us all experience technological change at an accelerated pace.

Microcity SA will thus be able to count very quickly on the solid skills of a professional who is already very experienced in the field of technological innovation, a man who masters the functioning and understands the stakes of the company's shareholders and partners, i.e. the academic, public and economic sectors.
